Our Story

Intellaegis, Inc. was founded by serial entrepreneurs John and Perla Lewis in 2011. Leveraging over 40 years of industry knowledge in skip tracing and repossession management within the auto finance industry, they launched their unique SaaS FinTech platform, masterQueue, at the 2011 Finovate in San Francisco. With masterQueue, they saw an opportunity to use their intuition and experience to build innovative software for the auto financial services industry.

More recently the company has introduced several patent pending solutions to address fraud across the consumer credit industry under the leadership of CEO Steve Schroeder, an initial investor in Intellaegis. Mr. Schroeder is the co-founder of CoreLogic, where he personally invented multiple technologies that are still in use in the mortgage industry today - AVM Cascade Technology, Collateral Score Fraud Detection, Mortgage Broker Fraud Scorecard, HELOC “Shotgun” Fraud Prevention, and LoanSafe Blended Borrower-Collateral fraud detection Back in 2007 CoreLogic was processing 70% of all mortgages in the US through their Collateral Score Fraud Detection. Mr. Schroeder is recognized for his pivotal role in creating the vision and transforming CoreLogic into the leading data and risk analysis company within the real estate industry.

For 15 years the company’s primary solution, masterQueue, has been used to solve a diverse set of problems such as locating collateral for repossession, locating fugitives in partnership with law enforcement and establishing eligibility for Medicaid enrollees. masterQueue is used by some of the largest financial institutions and government agencies looking to be more efficient in the process of collecting personal data and increasing contact through the combined power of data aggregation, automation, and analytics.
